Whistler Sailing Association (WSA)

Update as we transition into fall 2020:

October 3, 2020 –  Save the date!

  • Boat Haul Out from 9 am – 12 pm: Seasons Pass Members are expected to come out and help store the boats for winter.
  • Virtual AGM @ 4 pm: More details to come

We would like to thank you for your cooperation and patience this summer while navigating unchartered waters through the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic. Despite the challenges and new guidelines, we are so happy we were able to open this summer and run summer camps.

Please note that Whistler Sailing is now closed for the 2020 season.

Our email (info@whistlersailing.com) will be checked intermittently, and we will respond as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your patience. Please monitor this website for next season’s schedule and programming.

If you require emergency assistance, please contact Commodore Patrick McCurdy at 604 932-7782 or email him at patrick@themccurdyfamily.com.

Members with their own boats are able to use the ramp and launch until October 2nd, 2020. Please remember to follow the COVID-19 guidelines when using the site. As a reminder, WSA facilities and club equipment are not available at this time.

Fair Winds,

Francois Hebert, General Manager

About Whistler Sailing

The Whistler Sailing Association is a group of recreational dinghy sailing enthusiasts who enjoy getting out on Whistler’s Alta Lake for a sail. We meet throughout the summer Wednesday nights for a fun race followed by a social. We are a fully accredited Sailing School and we teach the Sail Canada curriculum.  Our purpose is to promote sailing by offering affordable “Learn to Sail” courses and clinics for all ages and abilities.  Furthermore, we strive to promote community spirit by organizing community sailing events. WSA has a growing team of Certified Sailing Coaches running instructional sailing programs from May to October each year on Alta Lake.
